
This hands on workshop will offer instruction on the history and use of firemaking tools. From our earliest beginnings humans have developed the skills and equipment necessary to make and sustain fires and have used this control of fire to transform our world. From friction, the use of steel and stone to make sparks all the way to our modern use of chemicals aids (matches, lighters) we will recover and rediscover this ancient art.
